Retirement Assistant – Customer Service

Job Summary

At Conrad Siegel, the qualified candidate is a motivated, self-starter who displays a history of strong academic performance allowing them to complete all job responsibilities independently and with merit. The Retirement Assistant reports to the Defined Contribution Operations Manager and provides support for retirement managers and consultants. The Retirement Assistant is responsible for maintaining excellent plan participant relationships by responding promptly to questions and requests.

Job Responsibilities

  • Address plan participant questions and service requests
  • Manage plan participant phone calls and emails
  • Maintain a professional and trustworthy relationship with plan participants
  • Set up transactions according to plan participant requests.

Qualifications

  • Superior customer service skills
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work with and learn new computer software
  • Display of superior organization skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to complete assignments with minimal supervision
  • Experience working in a customer service role, preferred
  • Knowledge of retirement benefit plans, preferred

Physical Requirements

While performing the responsibilities of this job, the employee must be able to sit for several hours at a time. The employee is regularly required to operate a computer and telephone. Work environment includes an indoor office with uniform temperatures.

Work Hours & Expectations

This position is hourly, non-exempt and requires an average of 37.5 hours per week. The position is hybrid or fully remote (after training).
