Marcia provides the research support that the Conrad Siegel consultants and staff need to provide our clients with retirement plan consulting, enrolled actuarial services, and recordkeeping for 401(k), 403(b), 457(b), defined benefit, cash balance, municipal, and nonqualified deferred compensation plans. She stands behind our health and welfare department ensuring its compliance with HIPAA, ERISA, and the Internal Revenue Code.
She has served as an ERISA in-house attorney for more than 35 years. Along the way, she obtained a master’s degree from Georgetown University in federal tax law studies. Her thesis was an explanation of the required minimum distribution rules for estate tax attorneys and others who find these rules a mystery. Connie Siegel hired her in 1990 from her former position with a national life insurance company and retirement plan recordkeeper.
When Marcia is not researching for our consultants, she researches Renaissance food and clothing and enjoys camping with her family at Medieval reenactments.
