Job Summary

At Conrad Siegel, the qualified candidate is a motivated, self-starter who has attained valuable industry experience allowing them to complete all job responsibilities independently and with merit. The Business Analyst reports to the Director of Information Technology and ensures that internal software development projects are created to meet business needs. The Business Analyst works closely with the project sponsors to understand the project needs and to develop sufficient subject matter expertise to define and test the project.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop viable, business-driven, and cost-effective solutions to satisfy project goals and objectives
  • Develop, maintain, and monitor project plan deliverables and apply metrics to measure project success
  • Communicate with project sponsors, business experts, and IT team members to ensure the development of an efficient solution
  • Plan, design, and conduct functional walk-throughs
  • Identify and implement contingency plans and perform risk management assessments
  • Coordinate release procedures and processes including user training
  • Gather information and conduct impact analysis
  • Conduct and oversee pre and post implementation review and approval

Physical Requirements

While performing the responsibilities of this job, the employee must be able to sit for several hours at a time. The employee is regularly required to operate a computer and telephone. Work environment includes an indoor office with uniform temperatures.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related degree
  • Business Analyst Certification
  • An understanding of object-oriented programming principles and techniques
  • Experience programming with SQL and Visual Studio .NET
  • Exceptional understanding of software design
  • Analytical thinking with problem-solving capability
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Great attention to detail and time-management skills
  • Ability to quickly develop subject matter expertise

Compensation

This position is full-time exempt and requires an average of 37.5 hours per week. Conrad Siegel offers a competitive salary that is commensurate with education and experience.
