As a leader on Conrad Siegel’s Health & Welfare team, Fred specializes in self-funded health and welfare benefit plans, working primarily with school district trusts and large private sector employers. His expertise includes budget and fund projections, reserve and rate calculations, benefit and claim analysis, prescription drug benefit analysis, high-cost claimant pricing, and Affordable Care Act (ACA) compliance. Fred’s consulting helps provide clients with the insights they need to make the best decisions for their organizations and employees.
Fred also brings some of the industry’s top credentials to our team as an Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA). Prior to his work in healthcare, Fred specialized in analyzing funding, accounting, and termination liabilities for corporate defined benefit plans. He joined Conrad Siegel in 2016, after graduating with a B.S. degree in mathematics, summa cum laude with distinction, from Syracuse University.
When he’s not in the office, you’ll typically find Fred spending time with his fiancé and chocolate lab. He stays active on the volleyball and pickleball courts and enjoys cooking, traveling, hiking, and being with family and friends.
