Tom provides consulting specific to defined contribution plans and plan design for 401(k) and 403(b) plans. His experience lies in consulting with non-qualified plans and ESOPs with specialization in investment policy statements, investment oversight, employee communications and fiduciary governance. Tom is an industry expert in working with the unique challenges of science & technology corporations, not-for-profit and senior living organizations. He is frequently featured in the Patriot News, Central Penn Business Journal, PLANSPONSOR magazine, The Washington Post, and has been interviewed on Fox 43 and WITF-Smart Talk. Tom was a finalist for PLANSPONSOR’s Retirement Plan Adviser of the Year award.
Though it may sound shocking, before becoming an actuary, Tom started his career path as an electrical engineer. Since joining Conrad Siegel 25 years ago, Tom continues to use his extensive and specialty experience to help large clients enhance their retirement plans to meet the goals of the employer while helping its participants to achieve better retirement outcomes.
Tom enjoys a good adventure and can be found hiking and bicycling with his kids often. He contributes time to youth and community by staying involved in youth sports and Trail Life USA.
