John provides consulting for Conrad Siegel’s full line of retirement services, including defined benefit plans, 401(k) & profit sharing plans, and ESOPs. What sets John apart is the creative solutions that he is able to develop for his clients that focus on optimal plan design and retirement readiness, ease of day-to-day administration, and clear employee communications. John specializes in actuarial plan design studies, particularly those that deal with organizations that are considering a transition from a pension plan to an enhanced defined contribution program. Clients all speak highly of John’s ability to break down complex projects in a way that they easily understand, providing them options that balance competitive retirement benefits while managing program costs and risks.
With over 25 years of experience in consulting across Conrad Siegel’s retirement services, John is truly a retirement expert. In addition to retirement plans, John also provides actuarial services to over 90 school districts throughout Pennsylvania, specializing in GASB 75 compliance for post-retirement healthcare plans. On the management side, John has been instrumental in guiding the firm’s growth efforts as chair of the Business Development Committee and member of the Strategy Committee. As a part of this role, John manages key relationships with other regional professional service firms, with whom we serve mutual clients.
An essential contributor in building the relationships that have fueled Conrad Siegel’s growth for 50 years, John is also relationship-driven outside of the office. You will often find him doing what he loves- spending time with family and friends. John also enjoys hiking, sporting events, taking an active role in his kids’ interests, and entertaining guests at their home. Don’t be surprised if you run into him around town sampling craft beer or stopping by the best chicken wing stops.
