Job Summary
At Conrad Siegel, the qualified candidate is a motivated, self-starter who has attained valuable industry experience allowing them to complete all job responsibilities independently and with merit. The Retirement Plan Compliance Manager reports to the Compliance Committee Chair and serves as an expert on retirement plan compliance. The individual will provide ERISA compliance support which includes, reviewing regulation changes, educating staff, and drafting forms. Other duties include working on summary plan descriptions, amendments, and plan documents.
Job Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and manage forms and documents
- Research questions and advise staff
- Provide compliance training and education to staff
- Assist with client correction work
- Provide support to our internal Qualified Domestic Relations Order (QDRO) team
- Serve as an active member of the company’s Compliance Committee
- Review regulatory changes
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, or related degree
- Holds a retirement industry designation (CPC, QKA, etc.)
- Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation, preferred
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience working with retirement plans
- Strong conceptual and research skills
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical Requirements
This position is full-time exempt and requires an average of 40 hours per week. This position is fully remote.
Working Hours & Expectations
While performing the responsibilities of this job, the employee must be able to sit for several hours at a time. The employee is regularly required to operate a computer and telephone. Work environment includes an indoor office with uniform temperatures.
