Job Summary
At Conrad Siegel, the qualified candidate is a motivated, self-starter who has attained valuable industry experience allowing them to complete all job responsibilities independently and with merit. Investment Consultants report to the Investment Advisor Line of Business Committee and are responsible for providing financial planning and ongoing investment advisory services to individuals, endowments, and foundations. Investment Consultants assist with the development and marketing of financial planning and investment advisory services.
Job Responsibilities
- Market investment advisory services to clients and prospects
- Provide comprehensive financial planning
- Provide advice to a designated segment of clients when selecting investments
- Monitor client investments and provide proactive recommendations
- Manage investment related marketing and consulting documents
- Develop Investment Policy Statements (IPS) for clients
- Develop and deliver educational presentations, meetings, and other efforts to support the broader company
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business or Mathematics
- Registered as an Investment Advisor Representative (IAR)
- Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation, preferred
- Minimum 3 years of investment experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Strategic sales and marketing skills
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong analytical skills with extreme attention to detail
- Expertise and comfort with public speaking, in-person and virtually
Physical Requirements
This position is full-time exempt and requires an average of 40 hours per week. The position is hybrid, in office expectations and work from home flexibility.
Working Hours & Expectations
While performing the responsibilities of this job, the employee must be able to sit for several hours at a time. The employee is regularly required to operate a computer and telephone. Work environment includes an indoor office with uniform temperatures.
