Job Summary
At Conrad Siegel, the qualified candidate is a motivated, self-starter who has attained valuable industry experience allowing them to complete all job responsibilities independently and with merit. Associate Consultants support Wealth Consultants in providing financial planning and ongoing investment advisory services to families, endowments, and foundations, as well as assisting with the development and marketing of financial planning and investment advisory services. The Associate Consultant will also manage a small caseload of their own clients.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide advice to clients when selecting investments
- Maintain regular proactive outreach and service to clients, addressing inquiries, and supporting semi-annual or periodic strategy meetings
- Monitor client investments and provide proactive recommendations
- Utilize financial planning and CRM software; serve as a subject-matter resource for internal technology tools
- Participate in networking, referral cultivation, and firm events to support lead advisors and identify new client opportunities
- Follow compliance standards and regulatory requirements in all client interactions
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business or related field
- Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation, required (if not already held, must be within 1-2 years)
- FINRA Series 65 (if not already held, must be obtained within a defined timeframe)
- Additional designations desired (ChFC, AIF, RICP, etc.)
- Minimum 3 years of investment experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong analytical skills with extreme attention to detail
Physical Requirements
While performing the responsibilities of this job, the employee must be able to sit for several hours at a time. The employee is regularly required to operate a computer and telephone. Work environment includes an indoor office with uniform temperatures.
Work Hours & Expectations
This position is full-time exempt and requires an average of 40 hours per week. This position is hybrid but does require in office time Tuesday-Thursday.
